Le weekend en les montagnes

Just about to finish work and head up to Coniston for my Dad's 60th birthday celebrations. Its a week early, probably so he can sneak another party in next weekend too. We'll probably walk up the old man [the mountain, not my Dad...] on Saturday before the big shindig. The only downside is that Christine needs to be at Manchester Airport by 10Am on Sunday morning, so its going to be a horribly early start.

To get me in the mood, I've got an appointment to finalise my mortgage before I head off. Urk!

Unrelated LRP question. Does anyone have a fairly `tribal' looking axe I could borrow for the next Riftworld? I was planning on buying one, but have totally failed to get organised...
