I'm in a doing mood at the moment. Last night I rewired the computer a bit to bypass the broken DVD drive. I don't suppose anyone has a spare one lying about? There was also much tightening of plugs, maintainince of bits of stuff etc.

Car MOT repairs came in at 200 quid - could have been worse I suppose. now I just need to tax it - only 6 days late...

I'm being barraged by phone calls at the moment - the garage, estate agents, sales people. I may go and hide my office phone in the fridge.

You looking at a specfic spec of DVD drive? i've got on sitting in my old shell of a computer....start IDE DVD, CD writer....

Not really...just something to read the DVD my games are on..

I've just realised after a bit of a web search that DRD writer drives only cost 18 quid!
