Bike for free..

I have a bike I'm trying to get rid of to a good home. Its a hybrid, so good for the road with slick tyres on but OK on moderate tracks with off road tyres. It'll need a bit of TLC to get it back too good working order (new inner tubes mainly) plus the seat is currently stuck at my settings and might need some force and WD40 to shift it. There's also a size XL hi-vis cycling jacket to go with it.

I just had my bike stolen, so I'd certainly be interested. I'm not sure how we could work the exchange, though, geographically speaking.

Also: other than inner tubes, is there any other work it needs to be rideable?

Maybe. We are doing a roller derby bout during the day, but may well attend, pending available spoons for all possible attendees.

There wasn't enough time & energy to get to you after the bout, sorry I didn't let you know.
I'd like to figure some other way of getting said bike to Preston, if we can?

No problem about the party - the place was packed!

I'll keep hold of the bike and see if we can sort something out..
