Apr. 13th, 2009 10:14 amPretty good Easter so far. Friends over on Thu night (big meal and booze), then down to hinckley to see C's parents including meeting local friends on Fri (food and beer). Saturday's highlight was a trip to see Leicester Tigers vs Bath in the Heineken Cup. Good match, 15 all with 2 mins to go then a cheeky try for us at the end.
On Sunday we came home via Stanage after deciding to be optimistic about the weather. The was amply rewarded with a brilliant day in the sunshine. I led a HVDiff to start then two top quality Severes, Bishop's Route and Black Hawk Hell Crack. The latter in particular was near-perfect with a combination of difficult moves protected by absolutely bomber gear.
Chris knocked off three Hard Severe leads, including a particularly nasty one that we discovered after getting home had been upgraded to a fluttery VS in the new guidebook!
