House still resembles a storage dump, although I'm making slow progress. The second bedroom now has carpet, so some furniture can be moved in there at last.
I've become an enthusiastic freecycler. Two bulky and unwanted items of furniture have so far been collected from my front door by people who can use them. Much better than lobbing it into a skip, and I'll probably use freecycle to acquire garden stuff for next year (bit late to be planting anything now).
I'm trying to book annual leave for a trip to Rjukan, Norway in February, for a week of attacking frozen waterfalls with ice axes :) Flights are 50 quid all in, which actually makes it cheaper than going to Scotland..
All my line managenent are away though, so still waiting....boo.
