Cricket and stuff....
Mar. 16th, 2007 04:04 pmSo, the cricket world cup, in the West Indies has been promoted as a `carnival of cricket'. Unfortunately, the hosts seem to have prepared exclusively slow, dull pitches, which have made every game so far low scoring, thoroughly boring affairs.
I got as far as mid-afternoon today, then had a huge energy slump and my brain turned off. I couldn't do some simple maths in the lab - working out a dilution of a chemical I had to use. This is usually a sign that I need way more sleep.
I've got a second viewing on a house tomorrow, and may end up making an offer. The problem is that while I want to make a low offer so I have to pay less, its the only one I've seen in 3 weekends that I would actually like to live in...
