(no subject)

Just got back from Christine's birthday weekend, and am trying to pack for Grenoble. A quick look at the weather forecast has resulted in the addition of a big coat, hat, gloves and scarf to the suitcase.

The weekend was pretty good. I was not considered to be too unsociable for insisting on watching the rugby on Sat afternoon. Fewer people than expected turned up, mainly due to the serious fog that was hanging round last night, but a good time was had by all, curry and beer included..

Much of saturday was spent house-hunting. I need to work on my desire to murder all estate agents that i meet. I also have a serious moral issue when people start talking in numbers that start in 100 for a tiny terrace that I wouldn't fit all my stuff into anyway. Insane!





 

Next weekend

I get back into the UK late afternoon on Saturday 10th Feb. Is there anything happening in Manchester that night? It'll probably be about my last free time in the month, since I've got a stupidly busy week afterwards before I head to Germany.
